Sustainable is one of the biggest buzzwords in the fashion industry… But what do brands really mean when they say they are Sustainable?
Let's be factual here for a second, it is impossible to be 100% sustainable in the lingerie industry but that doesn’t mean we can do better, be better and be conscious of the planet in every step of the process.
We can comment on other brands and their sustainable marketing but we damn sure can be 100% transparent with you! For years we have been making sure that our elastics on our bra and undies were made from 100% recycled elastic, but as of this year we can proudly say that all our products are made of 100% recycled materials. That’s right every thing in your Lemonade order is made from reused fabrics and elastane. This has meant we have had to find specific factories, spend more money and take more care in what we are designing. To us this process is a no brainer, it’s been on our mission statement from the beginning and we strive to do better, be better and be planet conscious every day.
We launched our new Modal Collection. What is Modal and why is it so great you ask? Well not only is it twice as soft as cotton, it uses half the amount of water to produce. As it is made of beech tree fibres it is 100% biodegradable but don’t fear it is really durable as underwear and resistant to shrinking or fading in the wash meaning your bra and undies will keep their shape and hold over time.
It's soft, breathable, and has moisture-wicking properties meaning our Modal Collection is not only sustainable but is also exceptionally comfortable against the skin, making them ideal for everyday wear.
And we don’t stop there. We want to help you recycle your old undies with our terracycle scheme. Give us an email at hello@lemonadedolls.com and send us back ANY old bras and knickers you may have and we will recycle them for you, to help to replace your draws with fresh durable sustainable undies.

We’re currently working on expanding our sizes to an even wider range of sizes and specially developed pieces for Trans and Non-Binary folk. Absolutely Zero retouching on any of our photos, we celebrate natural beauty in all forms.
No overconsumption. We only order the quantity we need, gift any samples to our amazing models or sell any leftover stock in our annual sales. Only working with audited factories: Any factory we work with has been carefully checked to ensure 100% safe and equal working conditions, that means no child labour, no discrimination and all employees are paid above minimum wage.Recyclable and biodegradable packaging - in Summer 2022 we reached our goal of making our entire packaging range 100% plastic free.
